All right, I'll update

It has come to my attention that some people are a little tired of checking my blog and reading about those two old ladies. All right, I'll post something else then. Just to make you happy :)

Life is busy right now (thus the lack of updating). I've been working for a little over a week now at a law firm in downtown Houston as a file clerk. The job is fine, although I don't think I could do that 8 hours a day every day for the rest of my life. Another file clerk asked me today, "When you're an attorney, you'll know to have respect for what we do, right?" My answer to that question is a very definite yes! I've done lots of filing for jobs I've had in the past (both in the legal profession and outside of it), but nothing like what this job entails. I'm very grateful for the job, though--it's a good way to save a little money for next semester.

I get my apartment tomorrow afternoon that I will be living in through next July, at the very least. It's a nice apartment in a nice area, so I'm pretty excited. Maybe I'll actually post again in the next few days about it, when I'm not quite as sleepy. Sorry, I know I'm a wimp, but I like getting my 7 hours of sleep! And so I think this is going to be it for the evening. Haha, how's that for an abrupt ending? Good night!
